The Old Boss

As of today Sir Keir Starmer has resigned as Prime Minister of the UK.
Voted in on the promise of change and a government brought back to acting in the interest of the people after decades of continuous abuse, Starmer only managed to break those promises and pave the path for the far right. Under his leadership Labour moved further to the right, worsened the cost of living crisis and further increased the complicity of the government in the ongoing genocide of Palestinians. A genocide he has completely denied the existence of.
When faced with protest and direct action in response to the genocide and his betrayal, Starmer continued the disgusting campaign of suppression through mass surveillance and terror laws. A campaign which is now imprisoning people as terrorists for property damage with no terror charges
His resignation therefore comes as no surprise when he has meticulously dismantled any and all trust the public had in the Labour party, leaving many disillusioned and seeking out alternative leadership to represent them, of which many found in Reform.
The New Boss

Andy Burnham, who appears to be next in line, has a track record indicating he would most likely continue the increasingly racist, apathetic and genocidal trend Starmer has helped cement and furthering the interests of the genocidal ruling class.
Having said he does “agree with what Farage is saying” and expressing support for expanding the use of immigration detention centers, he is likely to only push Labour further to the right. If he is so willing to surrender the rights of people in need to the demands of the far right, why would we ever believe he will stand up for those in need?
His acceptance of narratives such as those pushed by reform has and will directly contribute to the further legitimisation of racism in the UK. Last week in Edinburgh, a man talking about “protecting the country” stabbed 5 people fueled by anti-Muslim hate, targeting a mosque in the process. There is no possible argument that a leader who stirs up hatred about ‘small boats’, such as Burnham, is going to do anything but fuel further division and hate.
And if these were not pathetic enough, same as Starmer, he has refused to admit that what is happening in Gaza is a genocide, stating that he ‘can’t judge things of that enormity’. This is despite not only, the countless human rights organisations and genocide scholars identifying it as such, but all of us having seen it with our own eyes. If he cannot even accept this basic fact, then how could anyone believe he will be a competent leader for the UK?
It is in the interest of the apartheid Israel that we are fooled by these changes in power and quietly wait for things to get better. However, the evidence is clear, Andy Burnham would just be another figurehead for the ruling elite on the carousel of prime ministers that have been paraded in front of us to masquerade democracy. So, now more than ever, we must come together and escalate our demands for a leadership that will not only recognise the genocide but actively take part in ending it. Only then will we have leaders that will stand their ground and that will be reliable in the face of those that oppress us all.
None of us are free until we are all free.
None who would cage those in need would make us free
yo this is so nice
